The Canary Islands offer one of Europe's most competitive tax incentive frameworks for audiovisual production. Productions filming here, Spanish or foreign, can access rebates of up to 54% on the first million of eligible spend (45% on the remainder), compatible with the 4% corporate tax rate for companies registered in the Canary Islands Special Zone (ZEC).
The rebate is handled by the Canary Islands production or service company your production works with, and by its tax advisor. We take care of locations and the shoot on the islands.
