Cantera de Santiago

Abandoned quarry in Gáldar with caves excavated in sedimentary rock. The cave mouths open beneath an overhang of stratified rock, creating a prehistoric shelter or abandoned mine setting. The dark interior with natural light entering through the openings generates dramatic chiaroscuro. Powerful setting for horror, adventure, thriller or productions requiring an accessible underground set.
