Steep ravine in La Palma's most remote municipality. A valley floor with a livestock farm surrounded by steep hillsides and Atlantic vegetation creates a picture of total rural isolation. Dry stone walls, green pastures and scattered agricultural buildings offer a believable setting for survival stories, rural life or documentaries about isolated communities. The feeling of being at the edge of the world is palpable.
