InteriorCueva de Las Palomas
La Palma · El Paso
Large-scale volcanic tube formed by ancient lava flows in El Paso. Access is through an opening in the lava field, descending via metal walkways into a basalt rock interior where total darkness contrasts with shafts of light penetrating through ceiling openings. Wide galleries allow walking upright in many sections, with solidified lava formations on ceilings and walls. The natural chiaroscuro and human scale inside the tube create an exceptional cinematic setting for horror, science fiction, underground adventure or any story requiring a subterranean world.
